HomeAid Houston's Project Independence Project Independence is a HomeAid Care project designed to renovate and restore five apartments and two common area bathrooms for Santa Maria's Spring Branch location. These apartments will be used to assist Santa Maria in their effort to support and serve homeless female Veterans. The mission of Santa Maria is to empower women and their children to become alcohol and drug free; the agency is also committed to providing services for community improvement and enrichment.
