The WCA is a dynamic organization created by and especially for women. Members are owners and decision-making executives within or ancillary to the construction industry. Our members include general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and service related firms representing every aspect and element of the construction business. We welcome your experience and expertise, as we work together to build this vital network.

  Contractor Members
  Contractor members are those women who are owners of or in a policy-making position within a construction or construction related company. This membership level is for any company operating with the capacity to construct, build or repair any facet of a structure.
• 
  Associate Member
  Associate members are affiliated with a company that provides services to the construction industry and are interested in assisting the WCA with achieving their goals. This membership level is for companies that provide services, supplies and other forms of expertise to contractors in the construction industry.
• 
  Junior Member
  Junior members are full-time high school or college students interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry. This membership level is for young women interested in learning how they can apply their skills and knowledge to a career in construction through mentoring, continuing education and networking.

  The WCA offers Junior Members the opportunity to be paired with a contractor member working in their field of interest to provide mentoring and advice for their career. The WCA will also provide scholarships to qualified young women wishing to continue their education at a higher learning institution in the Texas region.

  WBE Certification
  The WCA provides assistance and guidance in successfully completing the certification process with the Women Business Enterprise Alliance of Texas as well as the City of Houston, Metro and the Port of Houston Authority.
