June 2009 Luncheon "The 2007 Capital Facilities Program"
The June Networking Luncheon will be an event not to be missed. The WCA is excited to be able to provide our members with an exclusive presentation by a representative of HISD at this month's luncheon.
As some of you may recall, the Houston Independant School District Board approved an $805-million bond back in 2007 which included the construction of 24 new schools and renovations on 134 others. As these projects approach the bidding and construction phases, HISD has asked for an opportunity to address our membership about how your company can acquire a portion of the contracts in your specialization.
